Congratulations and Good Luck Corporal Rosa Quinones! Rosa retired after 27 years in law Enforcement.
Rosa began her law enforcement career in 1986 with the Hollister Police Department; she was promoted to Corporal on December 24, 1992.
She was hired by the Gilroy Police Department on May 1, 1995; she was promoted on July, 3, 2000.
During her employment with the Gilroy Police Department Rosa has been a member of the following teams:
- Hostage Negotiation Team
- Critical Incident Response Team
- Anti-Crime Team
- Bike Patrol
- Peer Support Team Coordinator
- Recruiting Team
- Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.)
She has held the following positions:
- Missing Persons Detective
- Field Training Officer
- Explorer Advisor
- Gilroy PD representative for the Police Victims Relations Committee, South County Domestic Violence Committee, and Project 4 Greenbook Project.
- ABC/Tobacco Special OPS Liaison
- Avoid the 13 Campaign Coordinator
Rosa will continue as a reserve Police Officer with the Gilroy Police Department.
